This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced event professional to create engaging experiences that connect with developers and strengthen a global presence across the gaming, technology, and software communities. In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of developer-focused events, including industry conferences, trade shows, meetups, hackathons, and product activations. Working closely with Developer Relations, Product Marketing, and creative teams, you will transform engagement strategies into memorable in-person and virtual experiences. Develop, manage, and track event budgets across multiple regions and currencies, maintaining financial accuracy and cost efficiency. Partner with Developer Marketing and internal marketing teams to create integrated event campaigns, including landing pages, email communications, social media content, and promotional initiatives. Create and maintain event listings and registration pages on company websites and event management platforms such as Splash and Luma. Work with creative teams to develop event concepts, promotional materials, graphics, branded assets, and other content tailored to developer audiences. Coordinate speaking engagements, workshops, panels, and presentations in collaboration with Developer Relations, Product, and other internal stakeholders. Support the delivery of flagship integration showcases and technical demonstrations, working with Developer Relations to present technical content effectively at events. Manage product demonstrations end to end, ensuring demos are tested and event-ready and that attending team members receive appropriate training, instructions, and supporting materials in coordination with Product Marketing Managers. Prepare pre-event briefings, detailed run-of-show documents, operational plans, and post-event reports to ensure consistent execution and continuous improvement. Track leads, attendee engagement, event performance, and return on investment, ensuring accurate and timely data entry and follow-up within CRM systems. Research new event opportunities, evaluate sponsorship proposals, and provide strategic recommendations for future developer-focused activations. Travel internationally as required to oversee event delivery and represent the organization at global developer and industry gatherings. Requirements: At least 3 years of experience in event management or experiential marketing, preferably within the gaming, technology, software, or related industries. Genuine interest in developer relations, developer advocacy, or technical communities, with an understanding of how to engage developers effectively; coding experience is not required. Demonstrated experience managing global events, including an understanding of regional requirements, cultural considerations, logistics, and budgets. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple simultaneous projects while maintaining high standards of accuracy and execution. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate confidently with both technical professionals and business stakeholders.
