ABOUT YOU

Full job description

ABOUT YOU We're looking for a Developer Experience Event Manager where you will plan, manage, and execute high-impact events and developer-facing activations — including B2B conferences, trade shows, developer meetups, hackathons, and speaking engagements — that strengthen Xsolla's presence within the games, tech, and developer communities. You'll work closely with the Director of Experiential Marketing and the Developer Relations team to turn developer engagement priorities into world-class in-person and online experiences, from concept to on-site execution. ABOUT US Xsolla is a global commerce company with robust tools and services to help developers solve the inherent challenges of the video game industry. From indie to AAA, companies partner with Xsolla to help them fund, distribute, market, and monetize their games. Grounded in the belief in the future of video games, Xsolla is resolute in the mission to bring opportunities together, and continually make new resources available to creators. Headquartered and incorporated in Los Angeles, California, Xsolla operates as the merchant of record and has helped over 1,500+ game developers to reach more players and grow their businesses around the world. With more paths to profits and ways to win, developers have all the things needed to enjoy the game. For more information, visit xsolla.com .

Lead event strategy, logistics, and on-site execution for developer-facing events, including conferences, meetups, hackathons, and activations tied to major platform launches (e.g. Apple WWDC, Google I/O). Partner closely with Developer Relations to translate regional developer engagement priorities into event plans, ensuring evangelists and technical staff have what they need to shine on-site. Manage sponsorship deliverables and partnerships at developer- and industry-focused events. Source and negotiate with venues and vendors (booth builders, AV, creative production, hotels, etc.) for developer events and activations. Maintain and track detailed budgets across multiple currencies and regions for the developer events portfolio. Collaborate with Developer Marketing and internal marketing teams to develop event-related campaigns, including landing pages, email marketing, and social media initiatives. Create and manage event listings on the Xsolla website and registration platforms (e.g., Splash, Luma). Partner with creative teams to brief and deliver event materials, graphics, and branded assets tailored to developer audiences. Coordinate speaking sessions, workshops, and panel participation with Developer Relations, Product, and internal stakeholders. Support the on-site delivery of lighthouse integration showcases and technical demos, working with Developer Relations to bring their content to life at events. Own event product demonstrations end-to-end — ensuring product demos are ready for each event, and that the Xsolla team attending is fully trained with the correct guidance materials, in partnership with each Product Marketing Manager. Develop pre-event briefings, on-site run-of-show documents, and post-event reports for developer-focused activations. Track leads, engagement analytics, and ROI for each event, ensuring timely processing within CRM systems. Support new event research, sponsorship evaluations, and strategic recommendations for future developer-focused activations. Travel internationally as needed to oversee event delivery and represent Xsolla at global developer and industry gatherings.

3+ years of experience in event management or experiential marketing, ideally within the gaming, tech, or software industry. Exposure to or genuine interest in developer relations, developer advocacy, or technical communities — you don't need to write code, but you understand what makes developers tick. Proven ability to manage global events and understand regional nuances and budgets. Strong project management and organizational skills - able to handle multiple simultaneous projects with precision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal), comfortable working with both technical and business stakeholders. Creative problem-solver with the ability to make quick, informed decisions. High attention to detail, quality, and brand alignment. Proficiency with Google Workspace; experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) is a plus. Familiarity with event registration and marketing platforms such as Splash and Luma. Ability to travel internationally and work flexible hours to support global time zones.
