Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a DevOps Engineer, Developer Relations based in India. The DevOps Engineer, Developer Relations will build, maintain, and scale the infrastructure that powers developer-facing resources, including technical documentation, blogs, tutorials, and developer portals. You will apply modern DevOps practices to improve platform reliability, automate workflows, and ensure seamless content delivery across cloud-native environments. This role combines hands-on infrastructure engineering with developer enablement, helping technical audiences access reliable tools, documentation, and practical examples. You will manage Kubernetes deployments, infrastructure-as-code, GitOps workflows, and CI/CD pipelines while strengthening observability and operational resilience. Working closely with engineering teams, you will integrate cloud capabilities into automation tools and code samples. This remote opportunity offers a high-impact role in a fast-paced environment where your work directly supports developers and helps shape the evolution of a growing cloud ecosystem.

Design, build, and deploy DevOps tooling and platforms using infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and orchestration to support documentation platforms, blogs, discovery resources, and developer portals. Manage the full lifecycle of developer relations infrastructure, including containerization, Kubernetes deployments, GitOps workflows, and highly available cloud environments. Improve, secure, scale, and automate existing documentation and content platforms to enhance reliability and performance. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, linting, and validation processes for technical documentation and code samples. Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to improve observability and proactively identify infrastructure issues. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new cloud features into automation examples, developer tools, and technical resources. Document complex infrastructure configurations and workflows clearly to support knowledge sharing and developer adoption. Take ownership of infrastructure initiatives from design and implementation through deployment, ongoing maintenance, and on-call responsibilities. Continuously improve infrastructure automation, platform resilience, and operational efficiency to support a growing developer community. Requirements: Between 3 and 5 years of professional DevOps experience. Strong production experience with infrastructure-as-code, containerization, orchestration, and automated infrastructure management. Hands-on experience building and scaling services in containerized environments using technologies such as Go, Python, or Node.js. Expertise in managing Kubernetes clusters and implementing GitOps workflows. Deep understanding of immutable infrastructure, CI/CD automation, system reliability, and observability practices. Experience automating documentation workflows and validating code samples at scale. Ability to explain complex infrastructure setups and technical concepts clearly through written documentation. Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to independently manage projects from initial design through deployment and operational support. Passion for building reliable infrastructure, improving developer experiences, and enabling technical communities. Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams while thriving in a fast-paced, remote environment. Benefits: Remote working arrangement in India. Annual medical insurance stipend. Professional development reimbursement. Nine company-paid holidays. Generous leave policy. One-month paid sabbatical every five years, plus an annual anniversary bonus. Remote office setup reimbursement during the first year. Quarterly reimbursement for new equipment in subsequent years. Internet expense reimbursement. Fitness membership reimbursement.
