Director, Marketing Location: Hybrid. This role is based in our Tampa or Miami office, with three days per week on-site. About the role 5W is looking for a Director, Marketing to help shape how the agency shows up in the market. Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, you’ll own the channels and programs that drive our visibility and pipeline, including social media, email, events, content, and case studies, and you’ll keep the agency marketing calendar running on time. This is a role for someone who is equal parts strategist and doer: you can build the plan, write the copy, manage the vendors, and report on what worked. What you’re responsible for: Own 5W’s social media platforms in partnership with Marketing Specialist, developing and executing calendar and content strategy, while supporting executive thought leadership through social content Research, coordinate, plan 5W’s participation in industry events, including speaking opportunities, event sponsorships, onsite activations, pre-event promotion, collateral, setting up meetings, post-event communications, etc. with a focus on maximizing visibility and generating leads Support 5W-sponsored events, including planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, ordering collateral, working with design team on assets, post-event communications and reporting. Serve as the lead project manager to ensure timely execution and strong ROI Lead email marketing strategy and execution, including campaign development, copywriting, list management, workflow development, testing, optimizing, and performance reporting Develop and execute marketing-style content across the 5W brand, including newsletters, thought leadership, PoVs, short videos, and other marketing collateral Maintain and continuously update 5W case studies and client testimonials for market consumptions across the website, social, content, and events Manage the agency marketing calendar, ensuring campaigns, content, events, awards, speaking opportunities and other initiatives are communicated properly and executed on time Monitor competitors and industry trends to identify opportunities for 5W to differentiate itself Support the execution of 5W’s overall marketing strategy and annual plan, partnering closely with the SVP of Marketing and broader leadership team Support tracking of leads, creating reports, updating campaigns based on performance, keep a keen sense on the market through inbound leads Track and report on key marketing performance, including content engagement, email performance, event performance, lead generation, and other KPIs What we’re looking for 6 – 8+ years of marketing experience Strong understanding of B2B marketing Excellent writer and editors with the ability to adapt messaging across audiences and channels Great at context switching across verticals Strong event marketing experience Strong project management skills Excellent judgment, attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced agency environment Strong thinker combined with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and execute Highly collaborative and proactive Why you'll love working here: Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits & wellness programs including partnership with ClassPass!
