ABOUT THE ROLE Build and lead IT operations across a holding company and its portfolio of businesses. As the primary IT owner, you will work with a senior IT and security advisor and a managed service provider to create shared processes and systems while preserving what works well at each company. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead IT work for acquisitions, including technology inventory, access mapping, account and device setup, and systems integration.
- Create and run a Day 1 to Day 100 acquisition integration playbook.
- Design and operate joiner, mover, and leaver workflows across the portfolio, including complete offboarding.
- Own the identity platform and its single sign-on, provisioning, and lifecycle workflows.
- Maintain inventories of tools, accounts, credentials, licenses, and renewal dates.
- Manage the managed service provider relationship, service levels, vendor contracts, renewals, and license consolidation.
- Build backend connections that support a cross-portfolio data platform. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 6 to 10 years of hands-on IT operations, systems administration, or managed service provider or consulting experience, including at least 3 years in IT leadership.
- Experience supporting multiple companies, business units, or clients, and leading acquisition IT work from due diligence through post-close integration.
- Strong identity and access management skills with platforms such as Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, or JumpCloud.
- Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, vendor and license management, contract negotiation, and service level oversight.
- Ability to map undocumented environments, build practical playbooks, and work with stakeholders across organizational levels.
- Portfolio or holding company experience and work in regulated industries are valued. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Base salary of $140,000 to $175,000 annually, plus a performance-based bonus. Placement within the range depends on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. LOCATION Remote, United States.
