Customer Engagement and Presales: Lead technical discovery sessions, solution workshops, proofs of concept, and pilot programs with law firms and corporate legal departments. Support Sales teams with technical positioning, solution proposals, and responses to customer objections during complex commercial engagements. Product and Engineering Collaboration: Partner with Product teams to shape roadmaps, prioritize integrations, and address gaps between partner commitments and product capabilities. Collaborate with Engineering on implementation, release readiness, ongoing support, and continuous improvement based on customer and partner feedback. Delivery Quality and Performance Management: Establish technical success criteria, operational health metrics, and performance monitoring for partner solutions. Lead technical reviews and escalations, resolve issues when solutions fail to meet expectations, and recommend whether offerings should be improved, expanded, or retired. Team Leadership and Development: Set strategic priorities and performance objectives for the solutions architecture team. Coach and mentor team members, strengthen expertise in AI, integrations, and legal workflows, and develop reusable architecture standards, reference materials, and shared technical knowledge. Strategic Stakeholder Management: Serve as a trusted technical advisor to partner executives and internal leaders. Align stakeholders around solution feasibility, manage technical trade-offs, and ensure partner offerings deliver measurable customer value while meeting enterprise standards. Requirements Professional Experience: At least 12 years of experience in solutions architecture, software engineering, or technical consulting, including a minimum of five years leading architecture for enterprise software or platform partnerships. Technical Architecture Expertise: Hands-on experience designing integrations involving partner APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise data systems, with the ability to develop secure, reliable, and scalable technical solutions. AI and Machine Learning: Experience designing AI- or machine-learning-enabled solutions, including model integration, information retrieval, and approaches for evaluating solution quality and performance. Commercial and Business Acumen: A demonstrated ability to translate technical designs into market-ready offerings in collaboration with Product, Sales, and Partnerships teams. Leadership and People Development: Proven experience managing and developing technical professionals, including setting goals, overseeing performance, coaching team members, and building effective teams. Security and Compliance: Strong understanding of security, privacy, and compliance requirements when handling confidential client information and sensitive legal data. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts and trade-offs to both technical and nontechnical audiences. Preferred Industry Experience: Background in legal technology, legal publishing, or professional services software, with familiarity with legal research, contract review, litigation support, or legal operations. Additional Preferred Qualifications: Presales experience; familiarity with cloud and AI partner ecosystems such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Anthropic; and a law degree, equivalent legal industry experience, or an advanced degree in computer science or engineering.
