The function of the Operations Control Center (Disposition Leitstelle) includes the following responsibilities:
- Monitoring and documentation of all operational ad‑hoc processes in the designated systems.
- Active communication with customers, internal employees, and externally deployed personnel.
- Ensuring compliance with duty schedules as specified by the dispatchers for operational staff.
- Monitoring adherence to working hours and break regulations for operational staff.
- Reconciliation of actual and planned working times, including the entry of actual times into duty schedules and relevant databases.
- Preparation and needs‑based distribution of wagon lists according to project requirements.
- Provision and distribution of timetables and FPLO documents to train drivers on request.
- Placing timetable orders in ad‑hoc operations when required.
- Maintaining and updating train movement overviews and project‑related databases for ongoing projects.
- Planning and monitoring accommodation requirements in ad‑hoc operations.
- Ensuring implementation and compliance with emergency management in accordance with internal guidelines.
- Implementation of requirements arising from the company’s management systems.
Requirements

Completed vocational training or an equivalent qualification

Training as an occupational first aider
-
Knowledge of applicable legal regulations, the company’s organizational structure, and the implemented management systems

German language proficiency at B1-B2 level
-
English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level
-
Confident user skills in MS Office
-
Professional experience in railway‑specific activities and/or in dispatching within the railway sector is desirable.

Strong logical and analytical thinking skills

High level of safety awareness and responsible conduct

Understanding of operational risks and confident application of risk‑management methods
