Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our humanoid robot, Figure 02, is designed for commercial tasks and the home. We are based in San Jose, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. It’s time to build. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and test critical hardware components of our humanoid.  Responsibilities:  Develop conceptual designs and conduct trade studies to support key design decisions Design and validate PCBAs for critical components of the Humanoid like power distribution boards, battery management systems, sensing boards, motor controllers or compute boards Contribute to the definition of our PCBA design and test process Support the review of design artifacts (schematics, layouts, bill of materials…) from your peers or external suppliers Support system integration and test activities by contributing to test execution and debugging Requirements:  Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 3+ years of industry experience Solid EE fundamentals with hands-on experience designing, building, and testing PCBAs Mastery of Altium (or similar EDA tools) in both schematics and layout Mastery of power electronics (motor driver, switch mode power supplies…), digital electronics (MCU, FPGA, Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C…), and analog electronics (filters, ADC/DAC…) Mastery of debugging HW issues. You know how to attack a problem, document, and come up with solutions quickly Strong verbal and written communication skills Bonus Qualifications:  Experience using LTspice, Python, and Matlab Embedded programming of DSPs, microcontrollers, and FPGAs Experience with Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical CAD tools (Catia, SolidWorks…)   The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $140,000 - $190,000 annually. The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
