Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Email Designer based in Netherlands. As an Email Designer, you will create engaging, high-quality email campaigns and Klaviyo pop-ups that support customer engagement and eCommerce growth. You will transform creative briefs and marketing copy into polished, mobile-friendly designs that align with diverse brand identities and campaign objectives. Working closely with strategists, copywriters, and marketing leadership, you will balance creativity with speed, precision, and consistent execution. This fast-paced, fully remote opportunity requires the ability to deliver at least eight email designs daily while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail. You will use tools such as Figma, Canva, and Klaviyo to produce effective visual experiences that support campaign performance and customer retention. If you enjoy combining design expertise, structured workflows, and continuous improvement within an international marketing environment, this role offers an opportunity to make a measurable impact.

Email Campaign Design: Create clean, engaging, and on-brand email designs for marketing campaigns, automated flows, and promotional communications, ensuring visual consistency across different brands and audiences. High-Volume Design Production: Deliver at least eight completed email designs per day while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, consistency, and timely execution. Mobile-First Design: Develop responsive email layouts that remain clear, visually appealing, and easy to navigate across mobile devices and different email clients. Klaviyo Pop-Ups and Forms: Design, develop, and refine Klaviyo pop-ups and forms that align with brand guidelines, support subscriber acquisition, and contribute to marketing growth objectives. Visual Hierarchy and Content Layout: Translate creative briefs, marketing copy, and campaign objectives into effective layouts with clear messaging, logical content flow, and prominent calls to action. Revisions and Optimization: Incorporate feedback from strategists, copywriters, and leadership quickly and accurately, refining designs to meet campaign requirements and improve performance. Campaign Personalization: Adapt email designs for different audience segments, promotional offers, campaign types, and A/B testing scenarios. Quality Assurance: Review every asset carefully for spacing, alignment, copy placement, links, visual consistency, and overall accuracy before submission. Email Design Best Practices: Ensure headlines and body copy are designed for implementation as live HTML text in Klaviyo rather than embedded in images. Create call-to-action buttons that can be recreated using native Klaviyo styling and CSS. Accessibility and Compatibility: Apply web-safe font pairings, appropriate color contrast, and Dark Mode considerations to maintain readability and consistency across email clients. Deliverability-Conscious Design: Build layouts using a balanced combination of live text and visual assets, avoiding image-only emails that may negatively affect accessibility, usability, or deliverability. Design Tools and Asset Management: Use Figma and Canva to create, refine, and organize design components, templates, and reusable assets. Maintain well-structured files and exports to facilitate reviews and handoffs. Workflow Management: Track daily tasks, deadlines, revisions, and progress in ClickUp, ensuring transparent communication and efficient coordination with the wider team. Performance and Continuous Improvement: Contribute to improved click-through rates, conversions, and customer engagement through thoughtful design decisions, experimentation, and iterative improvements. Team Collaboration: Communicate proactively through written channels, share progress updates, respond constructively to feedback, and balance independent execution with effective collaboration. Requirements: At least 2 years of experience designing marketing emails or similar digital assets in a fast-paced creative, digital marketing, or eCommerce environment. Strong practical skills in Figma and Canva , with the ability to create polished, consistent designs efficiently and manage reusable components. Experience designing Klaviyo pop-ups and forms , preferably with an understanding of their role in subscriber acquisition and conversion. A strong understanding of email design principles, including visual hierarchy, responsive layouts, typography, spacing, and clear calls to action. Knowledge of email development constraints, including designing headlines and body copy as live HTML text and creating buttons that can be implemented using native Klaviyo styling and CSS. Familiarity with web-safe fonts, fallback font behavior, Dark Mode compatibility, and sufficient color contrast to preserve readability across email clients. Understanding of email deliverability best practices, including the importance of balancing live text and images rather than relying on single-image email layouts. Excellent attention to detail, with a disciplined approach to quality assurance, proofreading, layout consistency, and error prevention. Ability to manage a high volume of daily design requests while maintaining quality, meeting deadlines, and responding efficiently to changing priorities. Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to track tasks and manage revisions through tools such as ClickUp. Clear written communication skills and a responsive, collaborative approach to working with strategists, copywriters, and marketing leaders. A proactive and creative mindset, with the ability to solve design challenges independently, incorporate feedback, and continuously improve output. Comfort working in a structured, performance-oriented environment where consistency, speed, and measurable results are important. Nice to have: Experience using AI-powered image generation tools to create, adapt, and refine campaign visuals, along with a willingness to learn new AI-assisted creative workflows. Working schedule: Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, for eight hours per day, aligned with UK business hours from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM UK time, observing seasonal changes between GMT and BST. Location and employment: Ability to work remotely from the Netherlands under a full-time contractor arrangement. Benefits: Fully remote work: Work from the Netherlands in a location-independent setup. Full-time opportunity: Enjoy a consistent workload with clearly defined daily responsibilities and production expectations. Competitive compensation: Pay based on experience and geographical location. Payroll and HR support: Access back-office assistance with payroll, onboarding, and HR administration. Structured workflows: Benefit from clear creative briefs, defined priorities, and organized task management. Supportive feedback culture: Receive regular feedback to refine your design skills and improve the quality of your work. Creative development: Opportunities to test new ideas, experiment with design approaches, and contribute to campaign optimization. International collaboration: Work with marketing professionals, strategists, copywriters, and creative teams across an international environment. Professional growth: Expand your expertise in email marketing, eCommerce design, Klaviyo, and AI-assisted creative production. Measurable impact: Contribute directly to email engagement, click-through rates, conversions, and long-term customer retention.
