Work independently and consistently: Manage assigned evaluation tasks in a remote environment while maintaining professional standards and meeting applicable project expectations. Requirements: Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school. Professional licensure: Active bar license in at least one U.S. state or the District of Columbia. Legal experience: More than three years of substantive legal practice, preferably specializing in employment law or labor law. Knowledge of U.S. employment law: Strong understanding of applicable U.S. legal principles, with the ability to analyze employment-related scenarios and identify relevant legal considerations. Legal document review: Experience evaluating legal analyses, arguments, and documents for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with relevant legal principles. Exceptional attention to detail: Ability to recognize subtle legal errors, missing information, unsupported assumptions, and nuanced weaknesses in reasoning. Written communication skills: Excellent written English proficiency, with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly, precisely, and professionally. Feedback and analytical skills: Ability to provide objective, structured, and constructive written feedback that identifies problems and explains how legal outputs can be improved. Critical thinking and sound judgment: Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to evaluate legal arguments independently, consistently, and impartially. Adaptability and self-management: Ability to work independently, organize evaluation tasks efficiently, and maintain high-quality standards in a remote contractor environment.
