This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned solution architecture leader to shape and deliver advanced warehouse management and supply chain execution solutions for enterprise clients. You will lead end-to-end solution design and implementation, translating complex business requirements into scalable, integrated technology architectures. Working at the intersection of consulting, cloud-based platforms, and supply chain innovation, you will partner with senior client stakeholders to ensure solutions align with strategic objectives and operational needs. You will oversee technical and functional design, guide multidisciplinary project teams, and take ownership of delivery timelines, budgets, and quality. The role also offers opportunities to explore emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, to improve solution performance and implementation processes. If you thrive in a client-facing leadership role and enjoy solving complex challenges across warehouse operations, logistics, and enterprise technology, this position offers significant scope and impact.
Serve as the primary architectural point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, building trusted relationships and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical solutions. Lead the end-to-end design, architecture, and implementation of Cognitive Execution Solutions and Cognitive Warehouse Management Solutions, ensuring functional and technical requirements are met. Develop and maintain comprehensive solution architectures that integrate core warehouse management products, cloud-based microservices, and platform capabilities with clients' existing technology landscapes. Oversee project timelines, budgets, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with project managers and delivery partners to ensure successful, timely, and cost-effective implementations. Lead multidisciplinary solution teams, coordinate technical and functional workstreams, and ensure deliverables meet agreed quality standards and client expectations. Design and implement integrated supply chain execution solutions based on client requirements, industry best practices, and established architectural principles. Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, technical challenges, dependencies, and delivery issues throughout implementation. Provide strategic consulting and architectural guidance to clients, including CIOs and senior supply chain leaders, translating complex technical concepts into actionable business recommendations. Act as an internal subject matter expert, advising other teams on solution architecture, implementation strategies, and technology best practices. Mentor and support junior team members, strengthening technical capabilities, architectural consistency, and knowledge sharing across project teams. Evaluate and improve solution design processes, implementation methodologies, and delivery tools, leveraging emerging technologies such as agentic AI and machine learning where appropriate. Collaborate with project managers, delivery partners, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure solutions meet operational, integration, performance, and scalability requirements. Promote effective software development lifecycle practices and agile delivery methodologies to support continuous improvement and reliable project execution. Requirements At least 15 years of experience in solution architecture, technology consulting, enterprise implementation, or a related field. Extensive expertise in designing and implementing microservices-based Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions, preferably within complex enterprise environments. Demonstrated experience designing and implementing at least one additional supply chain execution solution, such as Warehouse Labor Management, Transportation Management, Order Management, or Returns Management. Proven ability to lead complex solution architecture projects from initial requirements gathering and design through implementation and delivery. Strong understanding of supply chain operations, warehouse processes, logistics workflows, and enterprise system integrations. Advanced technical knowledge in one or more areas, including cloud infrastructure, software development, data engineering, and data analytics. Familiarity with SaaS architectures, microservices, platform integrations, and the challenges of integrating enterprise solutions into diverse client technology environments. Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, with practical experience applying Agile methodologies and project management frameworks. Experience using project management tools and techniques to coordinate delivery schedules, manage budgets, track risks, and maintain accountability. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, from technical teams to CIOs and senior supply chain executives. Strong strategic thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, particularly when addressing complex architectural and business challenges. Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, provide technical mentorship, and balance strategic planning with hands-on architectural decision-making. Adaptability and resilience in fast-paced, dynamic consulting environments, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and changing client requirements. Experience in retail, manufacturing, logistics, or broader supply chain industries is an advantage.
