Position Description:
Provide both project and technical leadership while helping Wade Trim pursue new opportunities and strengthen client relationships. The role combines program management, environmental permitting, regulatory coordination, proposal development, agency interaction, and technical guidance across complex energy and environmental programs. Oversee program-wide projects, including project setup, planning, kickoff, scope, schedule, staffing, and budgets. Develop project strategies and design approaches that meet client objectives while maintaining regular communication with clients and managers. Manage project billing, client updates, QA/QC, project closeout, and compliance with project plans. Prepare compliant project proposals and serve as Proposal Manager and primary client contact. Navigate complex public processes, municipal approvals, regulatory requirements, and environmental permitting such as Chapter 102 NPDES and Chapter 105 General Permitting. Highway/Roadway Occupancy Permitting through State, Municipal, and County Governments. Represent clients in agency meetings, manage subcontractors, negotiate regulatory conditions, and provide technical guidance to project teams and employees. Maintain a safe working environment.
Bachelor's and/or master's degree in Geology, Environmental/Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Remediation and Environmental Engineering, Geology, Planning Environmental Sciences, or another related field.
Site investigation, project permitting, environmental compliance, and project management experience. Strong technical and business development background. Complete understanding of MS Office programs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to interpret and apply site investigation and natural gas practices and environmental regulations. Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work using critical thinking, problem-solving, and sound judgment. Ability to manage projects, time, tasks, changing priorities, deliverables, and deadlines effectively. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in written and verbal formats. Ability to build trusting relationships through collaboration, integrity, respect, and active listening. Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and outcomes with integrity, honesty, and transparency. Prior experience in oil and gas, transmission, and distribution pipelines preferred. Prior experience in meter and regulator stations as well as compressor stations preferred.
