Mauritanian applicants can apply for the 2027 intake of MARIHE, a two-year Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in research and innovation in higher education, with Erasmus Mundus scholarship funding available.

MARIHE is a 120-ECTS Erasmus Mundus Joint Master taught in English across consortium institutions in Europe and Asia. Participation costs of EUR 18,000 are covered for all selected students. Erasmus Mundus scholarship holders additionally receive EUR 1,400 per month for up to 24 months, contributing to travel, visa, installation and subsistence costs, with programme health and accident insurance provided.
Eligibility requirements
Open to students from all over the world, including Mauritania. Applicants need a first university degree representing at least three years of full-time higher education, sufficient academic English under MARIHE’s accepted evidence rules, and strong motivation for research and innovation in higher education. A previous Erasmus Mundus Joint Master scholarship makes an applicant ineligible for another EMJM scholarship.
