This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the centre of a busy and influential team, helping leaders stay focused on delivering work that supports better health outcomes for New Zealanders.You'll be a trusted partner who keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes, balancing competing priorities, building strong relationships, and ensuring key activities, meetings, and commitments stay on track.Provide proactive executive support to three senior leaders, managing diaries, communications, priorities, and day-to-day coordination.Coordinate meetings, events, travel, and key deliverables, ensuring actions, deadlines, and commitments remain on track.Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, correspondence, and briefing materials while building strong relationships across the Ministry and wider health sector.Contribute to continuous improvement by enhancing administrative processes, collaborating with leadership support teams, and helping deliver the group's work programme.What you'll bring - Ko ng&#257 p&#363kenga &#333uExperience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or in a similar support role, ideally with an understanding of the machinery of government and public sector environments.Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, think ahead, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the confidence to build effective relationships and work with stakeholders at all levels.A proactive and solutions-focused approach, using initiative, sound judgement, and advanced Microsoft Office skills to support senior leaders while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality.About the Ministry As the Government's lead advisor on health, we help shape the future of New Zealand's health system through policy, regulation and monitoring.
