Executive Director, Brand Sales

Every brand marketer wants to know why their customers buy. Most of them are still guessing, but you'll be the one who hands them the answer. You'll sit across from CMOs and insights leaders at brands you already know, run every deal yourself from first meeting to signature, and close business that changes how they spend their marketing dollars.     What you'll be doing   Building new revenue from scratch across your own territory of named accounts    Getting meetings with senior brand leaders who don't take many, and keeping your calendar full of the right ones   Running every deal end to end: prospecting, discovery, qualification, negotiation, and close   Showing leaders in data analytics, consumer insights, brand management, and marketing what Resonate can tell them about their own customers   Learning each prospect's business well enough to tie Resonate to the numbers they get measured on, and building executive relationships that outlast the first deal   Partnering with Solutions Engineering, Product, and Marketing to build solutions that fit each client   Calling your forecast straight, keeping sales leadership in the loop, and beating your number     What we're looking for   You'll need   5+ years selling SaaS, analytics, data, or MarTech directly to brand marketers   A track record of landing new logos and closing complex enterprise deals at $250K+ ACV   Strong relationships with senior marketing and insights leaders across major verticals   A consultative style: you find the real need and shape how executives decide   Experience running complex deal cycles through matrixed organizations   A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience     Who does well here   You're curious about how brands make decisions, and you ask the questions that get you past the RFP. You'd rather build a deal from nothing than inherit one, and you enjoy opening a door as much as closing it. You own your number, keep your forecast honest, and don't need anyone chasing you for either. There's a lot more about life at Resonate on our careers site, and it's worth a look.   The base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $175,000, with on-target earnings (OTE) of $300,000 to $350,000, whi ch combines base salary and commission at 100% of target. Where an offer lands within the range depends on your experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
