Full job description
The Executive Director reports to the RCZ Board and is responsible for implementing the Council’s statutory mandate, developing strategy and allocating resources, monitoring national scientific and technical research, supervising research councils and institutes, promoting research aligned with national priorities, strengthening research and innovation capacity, mobilizing funding and managing the Secretariat.
Requirements & qualifications
Applicants must hold an earned PhD and have distinguished research experience. RCZ requires at least 10 years of relevant senior management or administration experience, understanding of the national research ecosystem and evidence of mobilizing and managing public or private funds; associate or full professorship and relevant professional qualifications are listed as advantages.
