  • Workplace model: Hybrid
  • Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO, where required) WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS: ICEYE now employs over 1,000 people and is valued at more than €10 billion, following a Series F funding round in June 2026. We’re hiring an External Communications Manager to expand our media relations and external communications impact as we continue to scale. ICEYE moves fast. We need someone proactive who thrives operating at a fast pace without dropping quality: every release, Q&A, pitch and briefing is accurate, clear and on time. ICEYE owns the world's largest and most advanced SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellite constellation. To our customers we provide intelligence with unmatched quality, latency and revisit times, in any weather, day or night. ICEYE-built constellations serve customers in defence and intelligence, environmental monitoring, insurance and emergency management. We enable fast decisions that contribute to a safer future. • Write and edit press releases, statements, articles, Q&As and briefing notes.
  • Manage ICEYE’s owned channels, including the newsroom and website.
  • Direct ICEYE’s global PR agencies: set the brief, review the output, hold the deadline.
  • Judge when ICEYE has something useful to add to breaking news, such as floods and wildfires, and respond quickly when it does.
  • Bring new ideas for stories, formats and channels.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Social, Internal Communications, Legal and Product.
  • Track coverage, report results with numbers and recommend next steps.
  • Help build the processes and tools our communications team needs as ICEYE scales. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Must haves:
  • 5+ years in PR or communications, at an agency or in-house at an international company.

  • Experience preparing and advising senior spokespeople.
  • Experience coordinating agencies and stakeholders across functions and countries.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken. Nice to haves:
  • Knowledge of Earth observation, SAR or the space industry.
