The role supports integrated livestock and dairy systems through animal health, feeding, breeding, vaccination campaigns, farmer capacity building, dairy quality, value-added products, market analysis and monitoring of development interventions. Requirements & qualifications
Applicants must be Afghan nationals and hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent in veterinary science, livestock production or a related field. FAO requires at least five years of veterinary or livestock experience; two years with the UN or an INGO is desirable. Working knowledge of English and local languages (Dari and/or Pashto) is required.
