This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Field Reimbursement Manager I & I Atlanta based in the United States. This role is responsible for helping healthcare providers and their teams navigate complex reimbursement and coverage challenges so patients can access prescribed therapies appropriately. You will serve as a regional subject matter expert on payer policies, reimbursement pathways, coding, and patient support resources. The position combines field-based customer engagement with strategic insight, education, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, office staff, patient support teams, and internal stakeholders across a defined territory. Your expertise will help identify and address access barriers while translating local market developments into actionable insights. The role requires strong communication, sound judgment, confidentiality, and strict adherence to compliance standards. Approximately 50% of your time will involve live customer interactions, with the remainder focused on planning, follow-up, and stakeholder collaboration.

Conduct in-person and virtual office calls with healthcare professionals and office staff to address reimbursement, coverage, and patient access questions. Provide education on local and regional payer landscapes, formulary changes, prior authorization requirements, step edits, specialty pharmacy coverage, and patient support resources. Distribute approved educational materials covering reimbursement, billing and coding, patient assistance programs, and related access resources. Educate healthcare offices on financial assistance offerings, enrollment procedures, provider portals, and available patient support resources. Coordinate with patient access and support programs to understand payer requirements and help resolve questions related to individual patient cases. Address inquiries regarding prescription status for patients enrolled in patient access and support programs. Maintain accurate and compliant case documentation using designated systems. Act as a reimbursement and coverage subject matter expert within the assigned territory, identifying access barriers and providing relevant market insights to internal leadership. Build trusted relationships with diverse healthcare stakeholders through proactive communication, knowledgeable follow-up, and reliable support. Influence stakeholders through clear, logical, and engaging communication while operating without direct authority. Connect customer insights to appropriate resources and solutions that can help address patient access challenges. Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, responsible business communication, and regulatory compliance. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required. Typically, 7+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, particularly in pharmaceutical sales, coding, reimbursement, or related areas. Strong knowledge of specialty drug reimbursement, government payment systems, provider and carrier networks, copay assistance programs, and reimbursement policy dynamics. Prior reimbursement and market access experience is highly valued. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex reimbursement topics clearly and deliver effective presentations to healthcare professionals and office staff. Strong strategic planning, organizational, problem-solving, and execution skills. Proven ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries and coordinate multiple stakeholders with different priorities. Experience working successfully in highly regulated environments with strict compliance requirements. Strong relationship-building, influencing, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers and internal partners. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including responsible and compliant business communication. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including influencing peers, collaborating effectively, developing others, and driving meaningful business outcomes. Additional coding or reimbursement certification is preferred but not required; relevant billing and coding knowledge is a plus. Valid U.S. driver's license and a driving record meeting applicable company standards. Must reside within the designated territory, which includes areas such as Atlanta, Marietta, Roswell, Lawrenceville, Duluth, Augusta, Columbus, Georgia, and Chattanooga, Tennessee. Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% for live customer interactions, depending on territory size and customer needs. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. Benefits Annual base salary range of $139,100–$231,900 , depending on location, experience, qualifications, and other applicable factors. Eligibility for a performance-based annual bonus with a target of 17.5% of base salary . Eligibility to participate in a share-based long-term incentive program.
