Full job description
The role leads annual and multi-year budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling; manages accounts payable, bank accounts, petty cash, advances and acquittals; prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports; coordinates expenditure forecasts; supports procurement and payroll; maintains finance policies and systems; and manages financial risk, fraud controls and audit-ready documentation. It is a full-time locally engaged role intended to commence as soon as possible.
Requirements & qualifications
Open to I-Kiribati nationals only. Tetra Tech asks for tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, business or commerce, with CPA or equivalent highly desirable; experience in accounting systems, budgeting, forecasting and expenditure management; multi-year budget management; financial controls and compliance; accounting software such as QuickBooks and strong Excel skills; procurement support experience; and strong communication and teamwork. Donor-funded development-program experience is preferred.
