Full Job Description

Amazon’s North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) Finance is looking for a Finance Manager to be a trusted finance partner supporting operational and functional leaders. Come be part of this tremendous organization and join a dedicated team committed to operational and financial excellence where you will focus on the inputs, think like an owner and where every day is Day One

Key job responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end financial reporting for your business area, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external policies while mentoring team members on reporting best practices.
  • Build and maintain financial models and analyses that support operational and growth decisions, presenting findings and recommendations to leaders in clear, concise narratives.
  • Identify and resolve complex data integrity issues, design improved controls to address emerging risks, and develop scalable and auditable data analysis processes.
  • Lead individual projects from start to finish — managing timelines, setting priorities, and collaborating across teams to deliver results while removing roadblocks proactively.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, or scale finance tools and processes across teams, leveraging best practices and technology to improve efficiency.

A day in the life You might start your morning reviewing variance analyses and preparing a financial narrative for an upcoming leadership review. By midday, you are partnering with business stakeholders to pressure-test assumptions in a new investment proposal, building a model that captures multiple scenarios. In the afternoon, you collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine a control process or mentor a colleague on reporting methodology. Throughout it all, you balance deep analytical work with strategic conversations that keep the business moving forward.
