We are looking for a Fleet Planning Analyst to join us on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. The role will play a vital role in advancing Amazon’s unique culture and enabling the success of our Delivery Service Providers (DSP) within the high-growth, fast-paced Amazon Logistics organization. The Fleet Scheduling Team is constantly reviewing the needs from new and existing DSPs and is allocating a varied mix of vehicles to support growth. This position also plays a vital role in the expansion of our Electric fleet.

The Fleet Planning Analyst required to deep dive in complex data, and simplifying the defined deployment plans for various stakeholders (DSPMs, FMCs, Rental Suppliers, Variable Fleet, Demand Planning), always working backwards from their needs. It requires strong analytical skills to prioritize the development of mechanisms to track and control deployment planning. Scaling with efficiency (i.e. Utilization of the fleet) will be their primary focus.

The position is preferably based in Luxembourg or London.

Key job responsibilities

  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders within Fleet Operations, Physical Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Variable Fleet as well as DSP Management teams on modelling and defining decisions to efficiently and cost effectively plan deployments in the short/medium term (

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, operations, logistics, supply chain or engineering
  • Experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups), or experience working with Excel and large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as Python, SQL, or Tableau
  • Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
  • Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines, or experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL
  • Understanding of fleet management and related KPIs
