ABOUT THE ROLE Join the founding team of an AI-powered fintech investment banking startup as a Founders Associate Intern. You will work directly with the founder on high-priority commercial, fundraising, operational, and strategic projects, helping build a new financial services institution. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Research potential clients and partners, develop outreach approaches, and help turn conversations into commercial relationships.
- Research investors, improve fundraising materials, build financial analyses, and coordinate diligence and follow-ups.
- Support recruiting by identifying and assessing candidates and building effective team processes.
- Research new opportunities, address strategic questions, and execute the founder's highest-priority initiatives.
- Take open-ended projects from research and recommendations through execution. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 0 to 3 years of experience, including strong experience in at least two areas such as investment banking, management consulting, private equity, adjacent finance, or high-growth startups.
- Commercial judgment, resourcefulness, discretion, and the ability to turn unfamiliar problems into clear recommendations and action.
- Comfort working across different professional domains and managing varied, high-priority projects.
- Based in San Francisco or able to work on-site there. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Compensation is $84,000 to $132,000 annually, equivalent to $7,000 to $11,000 per month. LOCATION On-site in San Francisco, California, United States. The internship is expected to last 3 to 6 months.
