ABOUT THE ROLE Join an early-stage AI and AEC software team building a new BIM authoring tool designed for AI agents. You will help shape its geometry and data foundations, with the opportunity to take on broader technical leadership as the team grows. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build the geometry and data core of a new BIM authoring tool.
- Develop AI agents that plan and edit building models.
- Create generative design workflows that account for building codes and client constraints. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Production software experience; one to two years may be suitable if paired with a substantial track record of building projects independently.
- Hands-on experience with 3D geometry or CAD, such as geometry kernels, B-rep, meshes, CAD APIs, IFC, or Revit.
- Regular experience building with LLMs and AI agents, including production applications.
- A broad engineering skill set and the ability to become productive quickly in unfamiliar areas.
- Startup or founder experience, and fluency in English. German is not required.
- Experience with technical leadership, architecture decisions, AEC or BIM, Python, PyTorch, TypeScript, three.js, or generative and multimodal models is relevant. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary range is €70,000 to €150,000 annually, with stock options. Visa sponsorship is not available. LOCATION Remote within Europe, including Switzerland and the United Kingdom. The primary location is Karlsruhe, Germany.
