ABOUT THE ROLE Join an early engineering team building AI software for enterprise procurement. You will own customer problems from discovery through production and help shape the technical foundations and engineering practices of the product. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and ship full-stack product features based on customer needs, from discovery through production.
- Develop AI-enabled workflows and shared foundations for agent context, tool use, evaluation, and observability.
- Design reliable LLM workflows with appropriate evaluation loops and guardrails, balancing latency, cost, and quality.
- Build real-time data pipelines, normalisation, and integrations with enterprise systems.
- Set architectural direction across performance, security, and developer experience, and contribute to code reviews and team practices.
- Release frequently and use customer feedback to improve product quality. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 3 years of full-stack engineering experience building and shipping production features across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
- Production experience with TypeScript and Python, and experience building applications with Next.js.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, retrieval systems, and embeddings, including production trade-offs and workflow evaluation.
- Strong foundations in APIs, databases, and full-stack system design, with experience building data-intensive products and enterprise integrations.
- Evidence of strong engineering ability, initiative, and ownership in a small or entrepreneurial product team.
- Clear communication, sound judgment, and a track record of reliable follow-through. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Competitive salary and meaningful equity. Visa sponsorship is not available. LOCATION On-site in Berlin, Germany, working primarily in person with the team.
