ABOUT THE ROLE Join a small founding team building an AI-powered platform for private market operations. You will develop core product capabilities that help fund accounting teams automate data collection, reconciliation, and journal entry preparation, while working closely with customers to shape the product. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and maintain core components of the platform, from integrations and backend services to user-facing product workflows.
- Develop and operate LLM-powered and agentic systems for financial operations workflows.
- Work directly with customers and design partners to understand their needs, shape the roadmap, and communicate product trade-offs.
- Help guide product direction and contribute to building the engineering team as the company grows.
- Deliver reliable, traceable workflows that support accounting and operational tasks. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- One to three years of professional software engineering experience, with strong computer science and engineering fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Python or TypeScript, including experience building production-grade backend APIs and services.
- Hands-on experience building, integrating, or operating LLMs and agentic systems in production.
- Experience with AI-native operations infrastructure or financial operations tooling is valuable.
- Knowledge of private markets workflows such as fund accounting, reporting, reconciliation, or treasury.
- Evidence of shipping a product, research project, side project, or open-source contribution, with the ability to work across the product lifecycle.
- Customer-facing experience and an entrepreneurial, from-scratch builder mindset are valued. A degree from a strong DACH or European university is helpful. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS The salary range is €70,000 to €110,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available for Germany. LOCATION This is an on-site role based in Berlin, Germany.
