ABOUT THE ROLE
Full job description
ABOUT THE ROLE Join an early-stage B2B integration infrastructure team as its first infrastructure engineer. You will own the platform that runs integrations and coding agents in production, and help shape the engineering foundations and team as the company grows. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and operate a cloud runtime for durable execution, sandboxed isolation, and resilient integration workloads.
- Develop infrastructure for coding agents that write, test, and deploy integration code in production.
- Design observability across logs, metrics, and tracing for integrations and agents.
- Build and maintain single-tenant, self-hostable deployments.
- Set infrastructure patterns, ship production changes, and help grow the team, with the opportunity to lead this domain. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Three to nine years of professional software engineering experience, including at least three years in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment.
- Experience as a startup founder or as an engineer at an early-stage, venture-backed technology company.
- Hands-on ownership of cloud infrastructure or a platform, including operating, scaling, and debugging Kubernetes in production.
- Experience building production observability and working with cloud infrastructure, rather than focusing primarily on data infrastructure.
- Strong engineering judgment when using AI coding agents, and experience with self-hosted, single-tenant products.
- A completed or in-progress degree in engineering, computer science, or a quantitative field.
- Experience with Kubernetes, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Docker is relevant to this role. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Annual salary range: $175,000 to $300,000. Visa sponsorship is available. LOCATION On-site five days a week in San Francisco, California.
