ABOUT THE ROLE Join an early engineering team building an agentic integration platform for enterprise customers. As the first engineering hire, you will own core systems from frontend through infrastructure and help establish the technical patterns that support the team's growth. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and own the agent platform, infrastructure, and integrations runtime.
- Set engineering patterns and standards for future team members.
- Work closely with the founders to provide technical leadership and shape product decisions.
- Ship production-ready systems regularly, with a focus on reliability and observability. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3 to 9 years of professional software engineering experience, including experience building and shipping production systems.
- Experience building a product or project from zero to one, ideally in an early-stage startup or through a substantial side project.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, React, and Node.js, plus experience with AWS and PostgreSQL.
- Experience building or integrating workflows with large language models and agent-based platforms.
- Experience with production monitoring, observability, tracing, and reliable retry and queuing patterns in distributed systems.
- Experience owning full-stack features across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, with measurable customer impact.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a quantitative field, completed or in progress, and strong technical fundamentals.
- Startup experience, broad software engineering skills, and a track record of setting patterns for growing teams are valued.
- Ability to work on-site in San Francisco, or a concrete relocation plan, and eligibility for an O-1 visa. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Annual salary range: $150,000 to $250,000. Visa sponsorship is available. LOCATION On-site in San Francisco, California, United States.
