ABOUT THE ROLE As a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer, you will connect an AI-powered operations platform with customers' day-to-day workflows in the consumer packaged goods sector. You will own implementations from initial discovery through go-live, helping customers improve how they manage wholesale operations while bringing field insights back to the product team. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead customer onboarding end to end, including discovery, integration, configuration, testing, and go-live.
- Work directly with operations teams to map purchase-order-to-cash workflows and configure the platform to meet their needs.
- Build and troubleshoot integrations involving EDI, ERP, inventory, accounting, and freight systems.
- Turn complex operational requirements into clear data models, configurations, and product capabilities.
- Share customer insights with engineering and help shape product improvements. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 3 years of experience in forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, implementation engineering, technical onboarding, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Experience owning customer onboarding from discovery through integration, configuration, testing, and launch.
- Strong working knowledge of APIs, data models, SQL, and integration debugging, with the ability to read and write code.
- Hands-on experience integrating EDI, ERP, inventory, accounting, and freight systems.
- Experience mapping purchase-order-to-cash workflows and translating operational needs into technical configurations.
- CPG, supply chain, logistics, or ERP experience is a plus. Comfort with ambiguity, changing needs, and hands-on customer problem solving is important. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. LOCATION This is an on-site role based in New York, United States.
