ABOUT THE ROLE Join an early-stage team building AI-powered regulatory and product compliance software for manufacturers and retailers. As a Founding Product Engineer, you will work closely with engineers and users to turn product priorities into useful, shipped features and help shape the product as it evolves. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Turn the product roadmap into working software and deliver measurable value for users.
- Speak directly with users to understand their needs and inform product direction.
- Maintain, refactor, and scale the codebase as the product develops.
- Use AI agents as a regular part of your software development workflow. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A track record of shipping software products to end users.
- Technical work experience or a strong academic background in computer science or a related field.
- A user-centered product mindset, with the ability to understand problems and identify needs that apply across customers.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Experience with TypeScript, React, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Early-stage startup, B2B SaaS, LegalTech, RegTech, or AI/ML experience is helpful.
- An entrepreneurial approach and comfort working in a fast-moving environment. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary range: €65,000 to €75,000 annually. LOCATION Hybrid, based in Munich, Germany, with an expectation of four days per week in the office.
