A minimum average of 8 is required in the most recent completed degree, together with current qualifying English-test results and the GRE thresholds published by COMEXUS. U.S. citizens/permanent residents, former Fulbright-García Robles master’s/doctoral scholars, people currently living/working/studying in the United States and other exclusions listed by COMEXUS are not eligible.
Tips for this scholarship
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Check eligibility, funding coverage, study/project level and every required document before investing time in the application.
- Prepare transcripts, references, language tests, proposal/motivation statement and proof documents early.
- Separate the scholarship deadline from any university/program admission deadline; they may be different.
- Treat “fully funded” as a source fact only when the official provider explicitly confirms the covered costs.
Verification notes
Verified against the official COMEXUS page showing CONVOCATORIA ABIERTA from 2 September 2026 through 15 January 2027 for studies starting August 2028. No closing time is stated, so a date-only deadline is stored.
