The Fulbright-Masaryk Scholarship supports Czech doctoral students and researchers who combine strong academic work with active participation in the civic, public, or academic life of their institution or community, for research stays in the United States.

The scholarship supports three-to-ten-month U.S. research stays. The official programme lists a living-cost stipend determined by category and host-location costs, a travel contribution, basic health insurance, a family-member contribution, and additional professional/research allowances associated with the Fulbright-Masaryk award.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be Czech citizens with very good English and be either doctoral students or PhD holders. They must show active participation in academic or community life and secure an invitation from a U.S. host institution with proposed stay dates. Postdoctoral and senior categories also require a record of successful university teaching and/or research. Clinical medicine is excluded.
