The award supports applicant-designed research using Israeli institutional, library, archival, field or academic resources. Official benefits include a $28,800 living stipend, reimbursement of airfare up to $1,200, up to $2,000 in coursework tuition for fellows other than PhD candidates, and limited health insurance for the grantee.
Eligibility requirements
U.S. citizens eligible for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. Accepted degree levels are bachelor's, master's and doctoral. Applicants plan their own research projects and must follow the award's affiliation requirements. Research or study involving travel to the Palestinian Territories, West Bank or Gaza is not considered under this award.
