Full-Stack Developer (Mid/Senior) (On Call) - Java/C/C++/Python/Bash/Elasticsearch/Oracle/Spring Boot/Linux

Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.   Description Captivation Software has an immediate need for a Full Stack Developer to support Reporting Tool Suite Sustainment efforts. Support will focus on development and sustainment of the the project's tool. The project is a focus on a high-performance geospatial collaboration tool that provides a single repository for formal and informal finished intelligence products. Efforts will include creating enhancements for the project based on high-priority mission needs, as well as maintenance/sustainment of the existing code base.   Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly 1 week out of every 3-4 weeks). Staff may charge 4 additional hours for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked. On average, the first team is paged for after-hours support approximately once every couple of months with most issues resolvable by phone.   Requirements Security Clearance: Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, or problem diagnosis/resolution. Master’s degree can be substituted for two (2) years experience Required Skills: Java 8+ C/C++ Scripting (python, bash, php) Apache Tomcat Elasticsearch Oracle Spring Boot RESTful web services Solr Comfortable working in a Linux environment Understanding, maintaining, and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications Desired Skills: Amazon Web Services (AWS) Primefaces Quarkus Node.js Lex/Yacc Basic sysadmin skills (managing cron jobs, selinux, etc.) Agency reporting and dissemination tools Agency classification policies Working in an agile environment using JIRA and Confluence   This position is open for direct hires only.
