Full Stack Software Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Full Stack Software Developer based in India. This role offers the opportunity to build and evolve critical features across a modern SaaS platform serving a global user base. You’ll work across both frontend and backend systems, contributing to scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, QA specialists, and fellow engineers in a fast-paced, distributed environment. The role combines hands-on software development with meaningful input into architecture, engineering practices, and technical decisions. You’ll also have opportunities to contribute to automation and AI-enabled capabilities. Design, develop, and maintain core platform features across frontend and backend systems. Contribute to technical decisions involving architecture, scalability, performance, security, reliability, and data integrity. Collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering teams to deliver intuitive, reliable, and high-quality user experiences. Build clean, reusable, maintainable, secure, and testable code, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, standups, and other agile engineering activities. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across the application stack. Help optimize application performance and contribute to automation, usability, developer experience, and engineering workflow improvements. Support the development of scalable systems and platform capabilities for a global user base. Requirements: 3–5 years of professional experience in full stack software development, preferably within SaaS or enterprise environments. Strong experience with modern JavaScript technologies, particularly React and TypeScript, along with backend development using Node.js or Python. Solid understanding of RESTful services, API design, relational databases, and modern software development practices. Demonstrated ability to develop scalable, maintainable, secure, and well-tested software. Experience working in fast-paced startup environments and agile, collaborative engineering teams. Comfortable working remotely in a distributed, async-first environment and able to manage responsibilities independently. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative approach to working across engineering, product, design, and QA. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with technologies such as Next.js, Express, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows is valuable. Nice-to-have experience includes HRIS, global payroll, workforce management, or other compliance-focused platforms; AWS; authentication and authorization frameworks such as OAuth and SSO; internationalization, role-based access control, or GDPR; and AI-enabled SaaS products.
