About this Role: We’re looking for a hands-on Full Stack Software Engineer to help build the cloud and application services that power the next generation of Honda and Acura connected experiences. You’ll develop internal tools and engineering platforms that enable developers and QA engineers to build, test, deploy, and validate software more efficiently. Working across AWS and Google Cloud Platform, you’ll contribute to applications, backend services, APIs, automation, and cloud infrastructure that support our engineering teams. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, enjoys solving problems across the stack, and is enthusiastic about trying new technologies. You’ll work closely with developers, QA engineers, and other engineering teams to understand their workflows, automate manual processes, and build tools that make engineering teams more productive.
Build and maintain full-stack internal tools that improve developer and QA productivity
Develop web applications, backend services, and APIs using React, JavaScript, Python, and/or Node.js
Build cloud-based tools and automation across AWS and Google Cloud Platform
Integrate tools with cloud services, databases, APIs, and source control systems●
Partner with developers and QA engineers to understand workflows, solve problems, and improve engineering processes
Troubleshoot issues across the application, backend, and cloud infrastructure stack
Prototype and evaluate new technologies that improve development and testing workflows
3+ years of experience developing full-stack applications and internal engineering tools
Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to continuously improve the team, product, and company
Hands-on experience with AWS and Google Cloud Platform
Experience with React, JavaScript, Python, and/or Node.js
Experience building RESTful APIs and working with SQL databases
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write readable, maintainable code
Strong sense of ownership and willingness to learn and work across the technology stack
