Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Functional Solution Architect, Revenue Lifecycle Management based in the United States. The Functional Solution Architect, Revenue Lifecycle Management will lead the design and delivery of Salesforce-based solutions that streamline complex subscription and revenue operations. Working directly with clients, this role will translate business needs into scalable solutions across pricing, quoting, contracts, orders, billing, and renewals. The architect will guide projects from discovery and requirements gathering through solution design, implementation, testing, and deployment. By combining business process expertise with technical knowledge, the successful candidate will help clients modernize revenue workflows and improve operational efficiency. The role involves close collaboration with developers, solution architects, project managers, and client stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. It also offers opportunities to support platform migrations, promote best practices, and mentor colleagues while strengthening long-term client relationships. This is an ideal opportunity for a client-focused Salesforce professional who enjoys solving complex challenges in a collaborative, fully remote environment.
The Functional Solution Architect will lead functional analysis and solution design across client engagements, ensuring Salesforce implementations align with business objectives, revenue processes, and long-term scalability. Key responsibilities include: Lead discovery workshops to understand clients' revenue processes, pricing structures, contractual requirements, billing models, and operational challenges. Translate business requirements into process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution proposals across Salesforce Revenue Cloud and related platforms. Lead business analysis and functional solution design for one or two concurrent client projects. Define project scope, identify potential scope changes, and help ensure delivery remains aligned with agreed objectives. Collaborate with project managers and client product owners to prioritize backlogs and manage delivery expectations. Partner with solution architects, developers, and platform configurators to ensure technical implementations meet functional and business requirements. Support migrations from Salesforce CPQ to Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) by mapping existing processes and data structures to future-state revenue models. Facilitate sprint demonstrations, final solution presentations, and proactive quality assurance activities. Guide clients through solution decisions, explain architectural trade-offs, and build confidence throughout implementation. Advise clients on Salesforce best practices and scalable solutions that support their long-term business goals. Communicate solution designs and technical rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Monitor project milestones, communicate delivery risks and timeline changes, and coordinate with the wider project team. Mentor business analysts and other team members, sharing knowledge and supporting professional development. Travel occasionally as required to support client engagements and project delivery. Requirements: The ideal candidate combines strong Quote-to-Cash expertise with extensive Salesforce implementation experience, excellent client communication skills, and the ability to translate complex business needs into effective functional solutions. They should be organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing competing priorities in an Agile delivery environment. Required qualifications and skills include: 6+ years of experience in the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle, including pricing, quoting, contracts, orders, billing, or renewals. 6+ years of Salesforce implementation experience as a lead business analyst or business architect. Experience delivering at least one full-lifecycle Salesforce CPQ or Revenue Cloud implementation, from discovery through go-live. Proven ability to lead discovery sessions, gather requirements, map complex business processes, and write clear user stories in business language. Salesforce Administrator certification, plus a Salesforce CPQ or Revenue Cloud certification, or substantial hands-on CPQ experience. Working knowledge of Salesforce data models, platform capabilities, limitations, and hands-on configuration, including Salesforce Flows. Experience using project collaboration and documentation tools such as Jira, Slack, Google Workspace, and Lucidchart. Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams. Ability to assess different client needs, develop creative solutions, and recommend approaches that maximize return on investment. Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to align business objectives with solution design. Strong analytical skills, including the ability to assess data and identify opportunities to standardize processes and information across regions or global operations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly when explaining technical concepts to business audiences. Adaptability and comfort working in Agile environments where priorities and objectives may change regularly. Willingness and ability to travel occasionally as required. Preferred qualifications: Familiarity with Salesforce Revenue Cloud, B2B Commerce, Experience Cloud, or Service Cloud. Experience with Conga Composer, Conga CLM, MuleSoft, Tableau or CRM Analytics, RightRev, NetSuite, or Advanced Revenue Management (ARM). Benefits: Remote work: Fully remote working environment designed to support flexibility and work-life balance. Retirement savings: Employer-matched 401(k) plan. Healthcare: Medical, dental, and vision insurance options. Flexible paid time off: Flexible PTO to support personal needs and time away from work. Home office support: Home office stipend to help equip your remote workspace. Adoption assistance: Program to support employees growing their families through adoption.
