Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Funnel Conversion (CRO) Lead based in United States . This is an exciting opportunity for a highly analytical, hands-on growth professional to own end-to-end website conversion performance in a fast-growing digital healthcare environment. You will lead the optimization of the customer journey from paid social advertising through landing pages, quizzes, and checkout. Using customer insights, behavioral data, and rigorous experimentation, you will identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and accelerate customer acquisition. Working closely with a dedicated product squad of engineers and designers, you will turn hypotheses into high-quality experiments and measurable business outcomes. This fully remote role offers significant ownership, autonomy, and the opportunity to influence international growth strategy. It is best suited to someone who thrives in high-pressure environments, moves quickly, and is motivated by ambitious goals and continuous improvement.

Own end-to-end funnel conversion: Take full responsibility for website conversion rates from Meta advertising clicks to completed sales in your assigned market, optimizing landing pages, quizzes, and checkout experiences. Understand customer behavior: Develop a deep understanding of local customer needs, motivations, objections, and purchasing behavior through market research, customer insights, session recordings, and funnel performance analysis. Develop and prioritize experiments: Generate high-impact ideas, formulate clear hypotheses, and prioritize macro and micro conversion tests based on their potential business impact. Design experiments that produce reliable, actionable results. Lead experiment execution: Coordinate a dedicated product squad comprising a software engineer and a web designer to deliver experiments quickly, maintain high implementation standards, and ensure thorough quality assurance. Measure, analyze, and iterate: Monitor key conversion metrics, investigate performance across customer segments, evaluate test outcomes, and translate findings into new optimization opportunities. Optimize growth efficiency: Improve the relationship between advertising performance and the on-site experience, supporting better customer acquisition costs, lead quality, and paid media efficiency. Improve tools and processes: Proactively enhance experimentation workflows, analytics capabilities, and internal tooling to increase the speed, accuracy, and effectiveness of conversion optimization. Collaborate across teams: Work closely with growth leadership, product stakeholders, and other conversion specialists to share insights, support international expansion, and contribute to broader growth initiatives. Requirements: Relevant experience: At least 4 years of hands-on experience running a high volume of experiments, ideally hundreds or more, for direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce brands in fast-paced, high-transaction-volume environments. End-to-end ownership: Demonstrated experience managing the entire experimentation lifecycle, from customer research and ideation through test setup, implementation, quality assurance, analysis, and reporting. Experience limited to managing agencies or supervising teams without direct execution is not sufficient. Conversion optimization expertise: Strong understanding of the full advertising-to-landing-page journey and how conversion rates influence paid media efficiency, customer acquisition costs, lead quality, and overall business performance. Analytical proficiency: Exceptional comfort working with data, interpreting behavioral insights, analyzing customer segments, and identifying the underlying drivers of performance. Familiarity with experimentation and analytics platforms such as Omniconvert, PostHog, and Hex is beneficial, alongside the ability to adapt quickly to new tools. Strategic experimentation: Ability to identify significant growth opportunities, challenge existing assumptions, prioritize high-impact tests, and distinguish between incremental improvements and transformative changes. Customer and design intuition: Strong consumer understanding and a refined sense of user experience, with the ability to identify friction, confusion, and opportunities to create intuitive, engaging conversion journeys. Technical fluency: Sufficient technical knowledge to collaborate effectively with engineers, understand implementation constraints, and take ownership of translating ideas into working experiences. Familiarity with wireframing and design principles is also important. Autonomy and execution: A proactive, resourceful, and resilient approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently, make decisions with limited guidance, and maintain high standards under pressure. High-performance mindset: Comfortable working in an ambitious, rapidly evolving startup environment with demanding goals, fast decision-making, direct feedback, and a strong emphasis on urgency, accountability, and continuous learning. Communication and collaboration: Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, communicate findings clearly, and provide and receive candid, constructive feedback. Availability and commitment: Willingness to work extended hours and occasional weekends in line with the role's demanding pace. The stated default workload is approximately 50–60 hours per week. The position is fully remote, with asynchronous work primarily in your preferred time zone, provided you can generally overlap until midday Pacific Time on most weekdays. Benefits: Compensation: Annual compensation of $150,000–$300,000, including equity, with the overall package designed to reward strong performance and long-term value creation. Equity participation: Opportunity to participate in the company's growth through early-stage equity. Remote flexibility: Fully remote work with a globally distributed team and substantial autonomy over your working time, subject to core collaboration requirements. Healthcare coverage: Comprehensive medical insurance where applicable. Professional development: Budget for books, courses, coaching, and other learning opportunities. Wellness support: Budget for gym memberships and health-related applications. Health benefits: Complimentary membership with a clinic offering GLP-1 treatments, along with biweekly health coaching. Work coaching: Biweekly professional coaching designed to support performance, focus, and sustainable working practices. Equipment: MacBook and work-from-home equipment provided as needed. Career growth: Significant ownership, direct exposure to senior leadership, and the potential to progress into more senior growth or product roles. Opportunity to shape the organization: Join an early-stage, ambitious team where you can influence processes, tools, and aspects of the evolving company culture.
