ABOUT THE ROLE Join a fintech compliance team for a six month internship supporting People, Finance, and Operations. Your work will help the team run smoothly while contributing to tools and processes that support business identity and compliance operations. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support recruiting through candidate sourcing, scheduling, and coordination across active searches.
- Assist with finance operations, including expense matching, receipt tracking, and month end close support.
- Coordinate team travel and help organize events.
- Support onboarding for new joiners, including equipment, schedules, and first week setup.
- Research and assess tools, vendors, and processes, then share recommendations.
- Take ownership of tasks from planning through completion with limited guidance. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university program in any field, with 0 to 2 years of experience.
- Strong written English communication skills; fluency in German is also valued.
- Experience with expense tracking, receipt management, or finance operations, and with recruiting coordination, sourcing, or scheduling.
- Experience researching and evaluating tools or vendors, as well as coordinating travel or events.
- Strong analytical skills in finance, data, or research, alongside practical coordination and execution experience.
- Familiarity with Notion, Slack, and Google Workspace; exposure to fintech, KYC, AML, or compliance operations is helpful.
- Startup experience or self directed projects are useful, along with the ability to learn quickly and work independently. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Compensation is 1,500 to 2,000 EUR annually. Visa sponsorship is not available. LOCATION This is an on-site role based in Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands.
