Bar-Ilan University has opened its 2026/27 general scholarship applications for master's and doctoral students, with master's assessment differing by thesis track and doctoral assessment based on strong graduate academic results.

The current academic-secretariat page states that master's and doctoral scholarship applications are open through 30 November 2026 and are submitted through In-Bar. Master's students in years one or two may apply: thesis-track awards are based on academic achievement, while non-thesis awards are based on socioeconomic circumstances. Doctoral applicants may be in years one through four and are assessed on high master's/doctoral averages and thesis performance. The same current page also lists separate full-tuition master's awards in conflict management with earlier 24 September deadlines; these are not represented as the amount of the general scholarship.
Eligibility requirements
Master's applicants must be in year one or two of an eligible Bar-Ilan master's programme and meet the applicable academic or socioeconomic criteria for their track. Doctoral applicants must be in years one through four and meet the published high academic-average and thesis-grade criteria. Applications use the In-Bar system.
