Full Job Description

About the Role

This is a high-trust, early-stage role at a fast-moving AI infrastructure startup building the go-to platform for reinforcement learning environments and post-training data. As Growth Lead, you will own recruiting, culture, and community from the ground up, acting as a key storyteller and connector across the frontier AI ecosystem. The work you do here will directly shape who joins the team and how the company is known in the world.

What You'll Do

  • Craft and communicate a compelling company narrative to get the right people excited about the mission.

  • Source, engage, and build relationships with candidates, AI researchers, and key players across the RL and broader AI ecosystem.

  • Define company culture and values, then translate them into a structured candidate screening and new-hire onboarding process.

  • Own end-to-end recruiting operations, including building systems, tooling, and automated workflows in partnership with the Chief of Staff.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and events function to host community gatherings and represent the company at industry events.

  • Work with go-to-market engineers to map and establish connection pathways into high-priority leads and partners.

  • Create content that supports both recruiting and community engagement efforts.

What We're Looking For

  • 3 to 8 years of experience in recruiting, community building, business development, or a closely related function at an early-stage startup.

  • Demonstrated ability to own end-to-end recruiting processes and optimize recruiting systems and automated workflows.

  • Hands-on experience defining company culture and values and building new-hire onboarding programs.

  • Proven track record of finding and engaging individuals in technical communities, whether through recruiting, ecosystem building, or GTM work.

  • Experience hosting community or industry events and creating content for marketing or engagement purposes.

  • Strong interpersonal skills: outgoing, well-spoken, and skilled at reading people and building trust quickly.

  • Ability to understand complex technical products well enough to explain them simply and accurately, particularly in the AI or ML space.

  • Genuine interest in frontier AI, reinforcement learning, and the broader AI research community.

  • An established network within RL research, RL engineering, or startup communities is a strong plus.

  • A portfolio of professional writing that demonstrates clarity and narrative skill.
