AYANA Hospitality is a luxury hospitality company seeking a Guest Relation Officer (BOAT) for our AYANA Komodo resort. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and energetic team player who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. The Guest Relation Officer is responsible for providing guests with a warm welcome and ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
Responsibilities
- Greet passengers/guests during boarding and disembarking, provide orientation and answer queries regarding boat facilities, safety, and itinerary.
- Coordinate with crew, kitchen, and service staff to meet guest needs (e.g. food, drinks, activities), assist in organizing special requests, events, or celebrations on board.
- Make clear and professional announcements regarding schedules, stops, or activities, handle multilingual communication if required.
- Gather guest feedback and report issues to management, assist in improving service quality and guest satisfaction for future trips
- Boat upselling through a pre-arrival email, at check-in, and during breakfast, lunch, or dinner service.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field, demonstrating a solid educational foundation in service and operations.
- 1 year of proven experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in guest-facing or service-focused roles.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests, colleagues, and cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail; capable of multitasking and managing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems, with a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and guest satisfaction.
