The programme supports international conferences, seminars, short courses and research trips abroad for applicants based in Armenia. Applications are accepted throughout the year, normally no earlier than six months and no later than two months before the activity. Most awards support short travel, while exceptional research or study visits may last up to three months. The 2026 programme is open across research fields, with priority for humanities, social sciences, environmental sustainability and climate change.

Applicants must be studying or based in Armenia, be under 35 at the time of application, and be a master’s or PhD student, academic or researcher seeking a relevant international conference, seminar, short course or research trip. Applicants should follow the timing rule requiring submission normally between two and six months before the scheduled event.
