Head of Delivery

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Delivery based in India. This is a senior leadership opportunity within a fully remote product development environment. The role is responsible for driving effective delivery across product initiatives and ensuring teams remain aligned with organizational priorities. You will help establish clear delivery practices, improve execution, and create visibility across projects and stakeholders. The position requires strong leadership, structured planning, and the ability to navigate changing priorities in a technology-focused environment. You will work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into reliable delivery outcomes. Lead delivery activities across product development initiatives, ensuring priorities, timelines, dependencies, and expected outcomes remain clearly defined. Establish and continuously improve delivery processes, frameworks, reporting mechanisms, and operating practices. Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into actionable delivery plans. Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and drive timely resolution of delivery blockers. Create clear visibility into delivery status, capacity, priorities, risks, and key milestones for relevant stakeholders. Promote effective collaboration and communication across distributed, cross-functional teams. Support teams in adopting predictable, scalable, and outcome-focused delivery practices. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, planning, and execution across the product development lifecycle. Provide leadership, guidance, and accountability while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Contribute to broader product and organizational planning by providing delivery insights and recommendations. Requirements Significant experience in delivery leadership, product development, technology operations, or a related field. Demonstrated experience managing complex technology or product delivery across multiple teams or workstreams. Strong understanding of software/product development lifecycles, project planning, dependencies, risk management, and delivery governance. Proven ability to lead cross-functional and distributed teams in a remote environment. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and changing requirements. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, particularly when addressing delivery risks and operational challenges. Experience establishing or improving delivery frameworks, processes, metrics, and reporting structures. Strong leadership and people-management capabilities, including coaching, mentoring, and fostering accountability. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced technology environment with ambiguity and evolving business priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
