About our team:

Full job description

About our team: Radiant is redefining how AI infrastructure is built. We design and operate AI-native infrastructure platforms engineered for sovereignty, performance, and scale — powering GPU-native workloads, multi-tenant control planes, and high-performance AI systems for the most demanding environments. We are building purpose-built AI infrastructure from powered land, to compute, to software. As we scale our operations and deploy capital into the next generation of AI infrastructure, we are looking to expand our product team with leaders who can combine technical strength with execution excellence and are driven to build. Radiant was established by Brookfield, a leading global alternative asset manager with over US$1 trillion of assets under management across real estate, infrastructure, renewable power and transition, private equity and credit. Brookfield's global relationships, investment expertise and access to long-term institutional capital provide Radiant with a differentiated platform from which to develop, finance and operate AI infrastructure assets. This combination of entrepreneurial execution and institutional sponsorship enables Radiant to pursue large-scale GPU and AI infrastructure opportunities globally. Job Summary: As a Head of Design, you will lead design across Radiant, spanning both the company brand and the product experience. You’ll be responsible for how Radiant looks, feels, and communicates across our cloud platform, developer experience, website, brand, campaigns, events, and internal company touchpoints. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, marketing, commercial teams, and leadership to create a clear and consistent design language across the business. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can set direction, build systems, and raise the quality bar while still getting close to the work. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design strategy and quality bar across the Radiant brand, product and company communications and assets.
  • Own product design across Radiant platform, including console, documentation and assets.
  • Work with the CMO to help shape and evolve Radiant’s visual identity, brand system, and creative direction.
  • Work with the design team to build and maintain a design system spanning product UI and broader company design.
  • Partner with product and engineering from discovery through launch to create simple, intuitive experiences for complex technical products.
  • Work with marketing and commercial teams across website, campaigns, events, presentations, launches, and sales materials.
  • Translate complex cloud and infrastructure concepts into clear visual narratives and user experiences.
  • Establish strong design processes across research, prototyping, testing, critique, and delivery.
  • Manage, hire and develop designers as the team grows, while working effectively with external agencies and partners where needed.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across every major customer and company touchpoint. Qualifications:
  • Significant experience leading design across product and brand, ideally in technology, cloud infrastructure, developer tools, or B2B software.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both digital product design and visual/brand design.
  • Experience designing complex technical products and simplifying workflows for sophisticated users.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Product design: UX, interaction design, information architecture, prototyping
  • Design systems: components, patterns, accessibility, consistency
  • Brand: visual identity, typography, art direction, digital expression
  • Research: user discovery, usability testing, qualitative insight
  • Comfortable working closely with product managers and engineers on detailed product decisions.
  • Strong communication skills and able to influence senior stakeholders across the company.
  • Experience building or scaling a design function is strongly preferred. What you bring:
  • Design leadership: You set a clear point of view and raise the quality bar across the company.
  • Product thinking: You solve for user outcomes, not just aesthetics.
  • Brand instinct: You know how to build a distinctive and coherent company identity.
  • Systems thinking: You create reusable patterns rather than one-off designs.
  • Craft: You care deeply about detail, clarity, interaction, and visual quality.
  • Ownership: You can move from strategy to execution and take responsibility for the end result. Our values:
  • Set the standard: Every single day, you spot opportunities to constructively shake things up
  • Inspire the change: There’s no blueprint for the future. You’ll embrace challenges and change
  • You’re real and you’re true to yourself: We cherish and celebrate diversity so you’ll feel right at home whoever you are and whoever you’re talking to, you treat everyone the same. Why should you join us? What sets us apart is our blend of modern technology, competitive benefits, and an open, welcoming work culture that enables our people to thrive. Here are just some of the great things you can expect from us:
  • 25 days of annual leave
  • A culture that emphasises results over hierarchy, process & ego: we place great emphasis on the quality, ingenuity and creativity of work.
  • Open communication, regular feedback: we value smooth collaboration, direct and actionable feedback, and believe that leading with empathy and a growth mindset makes us better together.
  • Learning Time: we all have dedicated learning time to focus on new skills, projects or interests that lay outside of your day-to-day job.
  • Health & Wellbeing: we want everyone to feel healthy and happy, so we offer private medical insurance via Bupa.
  • Cycle to Work Scheme: we're committed to building a sustainable business, so we encourage cycling to work.
  • Gympass subscription to a variety of gyms and wellbeing apps
  • Participation in the company shares program
  • Enhanced parental pay & leave
