Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Growth based in Canada. The Head of Growth will own and execute a hands-on, AI-powered demand generation strategy for a B2B-focused business, driving qualified pipeline and measurable revenue impact. This individual contributor role combines acquisition expertise, content strategy, and brand evangelism, with direct accountability for marketing performance. The successful candidate will manage SEO, generative engine optimization (GEO), paid acquisition, LinkedIn account-based marketing, and owned media while leveraging AI agents to automate workflows and accelerate execution. A key part of the role is building visibility and trust with target buyers through webinars, podcasts, YouTube content, and industry events. Working closely with sales leadership, the Head of Growth will focus on generating qualified opportunities that contribute directly to commercial goals. This is an ideal opportunity for a resourceful, technology-driven marketer who enjoys staying close to execution and building a recognizable industry presence without managing a team.
Own and execute the demand generation strategy across SEO, GEO, paid acquisition, LinkedIn account-based marketing, and other relevant acquisition channels. Manage owned media initiatives, including blog content, YouTube programming, brand positioning, and marketing messaging. Lead live marketing and evangelism activities, including hosting monthly webinars, presenting a podcast, appearing on relevant industry podcasts, and speaking at conferences and events. Develop a recognizable professional presence that builds credibility with target buyers and generates inbound interest through content, speaking engagements, and industry networking. Use AI agents and automated workflows to execute marketing activities, streamline repetitive tasks, and improve operational efficiency. Build on existing marketing programs, including LinkedIn ABM, SEO and GEO content initiatives, established growth methodologies, and AI-agent orchestration workflows. Leverage HubSpot Enterprise and marketing automation tools to manage campaigns, track performance, and support pipeline development. Own measurable demand generation outcomes, including monthly inbound calls booked, ideal customer profile (ICP) fit, marketing customer acquisition cost (CAC), qualified opportunities, and pipeline contribution. Partner closely with sales leadership to ensure marketing activities generate qualified opportunities that support monthly sales targets. Continuously audit and improve marketing channels, identify performance gaps, and implement practical solutions with speed and accountability. Requirements: At least 5 years of hands-on marketing experience, preferably in an agency, professional services firm, or B2B organization selling to marketing decision-makers. Direct experience marketing to marketers and understanding the needs, expectations, and skepticism of this audience. Demonstrated practical experience managing SEO, GEO, and paid acquisition, including keyword research, prompt-and-answer optimization, campaign setup, ad copywriting, landing pages, and performance reporting. Strong experience building and operating AI-agent workflows for real business tasks, with tools such as Codex or Claude Code serving as a primary workspace. Ability to design and manage agent chains that produce tangible outputs and automate recurring activities, including day-to-day personal and professional workflows. Confidence and experience in front of a camera, microphone, and live audience, with a track record of hosting webinars, appearing on podcasts, publishing YouTube videos, or speaking at industry events. A strong interest in evangelism and personal-brand development, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and build trust with prospective customers. A resourceful, execution-oriented mindset, prioritizing rapid experimentation, practical solutions, continuous improvement, and automation over unnecessary complexity. Experience owning measurable pipeline outcomes, including qualified opportunities, cost per opportunity, and pipeline value, rather than focusing exclusively on marketing-qualified leads. A clear preference for an individual contributor career path, with a desire to remain directly involved in hands-on marketing execution rather than managing a team. A record of at least two years in each of the last two roles. Strong analytical skills and the ability to connect marketing activity to business outcomes. Willingness to share a short introductory video, an example of a personal AI workflow, and a recent speaking, webinar, YouTube, or podcast appearance as part of the application process. Benefits: Fully remote work within a globally distributed team operating across more than eight countries. On-target earnings of $100,000–$130,000 USD , consisting of base compensation plus a performance bonus. Dedicated budget for speaking engagements and industry events. Access to an established marketing technology stack, including HubSpot Enterprise, AI-agent tools, and existing marketing infrastructure. Budget support for podcast production, webinar tools, conferences, and speaking opportunities. Opportunity to build and strengthen a professional brand while representing the business across relevant industry channels. A hands-on role with significant ownership of growth strategy, channel execution, and measurable commercial outcomes. An established foundation of marketing programs, content calendars, and AI-agent workflows to build upon. Opportunity to work with a team that has supported more than 200 B2B brands, from Series A businesses to publicly listed companies. A collaborative, globally distributed environment emphasizing autonomy, practical execution, and meaningful work. An interview process designed to move from initial screening to an offer within 14 days when there is mutual fit, subject to the hiring process and business needs. Accommodation available for applicants who require support during the recruitment process.
