Among other tasks you will be working on
Strategic Leadership & Organization: You will lead our entire engineering team Translate business strategy into actionable engineering roadmaps Lead Engineering Managers, Staff Engineers, and Technical Product Managers, overseeing their performance and development while supporting the recruiting process for new team members Collaborate closely with the CEO, Product, Go-To-Market, and other key stakeholders on strategic planning, prioritization, and company-wide decision-making Manage the engineering budget, workforce planning, and external vendor/outsourcing strategy – aligning costs, capacity, and business value
What you bring along for this role
5+ years of proven experience leading a larger and technically diverse engineering organization – ideally in a fintech environment or SaaS company, with a track record of actively developing internal talent into senior and leadership roles Strong background in infrastructure design and implementation, combined with end-to-end system architecture experience across production environments, ensuring systems are scalable, resilient, performant, and able to serve customers efficiently at scale. Technical understanding of modern software architectures and software development processes Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and comprehensively to non-technical stakeholders Tech & AI affinity: Keen interest in modern engineering tools, automation, and AI-supported workflows Keeping up with technology trends in SaaS and Payments areas Business-fluent English skills, both spoken and written
Technology experience across several of the following areas:
Mobile: iOS and Android, including Objective-C, Swift, and Kotlin Multiplatform Backend & Web: Python, Java, Django, React, PostgreSQL, and Redis Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines Observability: Sentry, Datadog, or comparable monitoring and observability platforms Payments: Payment terminal integrations and payment processing ecosystems Fiscalization: Experience with fiscalization and compliance requirements or regulated POS environments is a plus
