The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to renew the Integrative Management of chronic Pain and OUD for Whole Recovery (IMPOWR) research network. This renewed network will include several individual research projects supported by one central Coordination Center. The goal of the network is to test new and improved approaches for people who have both chronic pain (CP) and opioid use disorder (OUD). These approaches should lead to meaningful improvements in how health systems deliver care. The network will be part of the NIH’s Helping to End Addiction Long-term (HEAL®) Initiative to speed the development and implementation of scientific solutions to the national opioid public health crisis. The NIH HEAL Initiative will bolster research across NIH to (1) improve treatment and prevention of opioid misuse and OUD and (2) enhance pain management.

Tips for this grant
Practical JobOpportunity guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Check eligibility, funding coverage, study/project level and every required document before investing time in the application.
- Prepare transcripts, references, language tests, proposal/motivation statement and proof documents early.
- Separate the scholarship deadline from any university/program admission deadline; they may be different.
- Treat “fully funded” as a source fact only when the official provider explicitly confirms the covered costs.
JobOpportunity.info helps you discover and organize source listings. Confirm eligibility, dates, salary/funding and application instructions on the original source before submitting anything.
