Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an HR Administrator (LTG) based in India. The HR Administrator will play a key role in delivering accurate, efficient, and employee-focused HR operations across multiple countries and jurisdictions. This position offers the opportunity to support the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding and employee record management to payroll coordination and benefits administration. Working within an international HR shared services environment, you will collaborate with HR specialists, payroll teams, external providers, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery. You will contribute to HR data integrity, regulatory compliance, reporting accuracy, and the effective management of HR systems and processes. The role also involves supporting people-related projects, annual HR programmes, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented HR professional seeking to develop their expertise in international HR operations within a collaborative, fast-paced, and technology-enabled environment.
Process employee lifecycle transactions, including new hires, transfers, organisational changes, compensation updates, benefits changes, and terminations, ensuring accuracy and timely completion across supported jurisdictions. Maintain up-to-date employee records, personnel files, contracts, employment letters, and HR documentation in accordance with internal policies, data privacy requirements, and record retention standards. Administer HR systems, workflows, approvals, and case management activities while responding to employee and manager enquiries, resolving routine requests, and escalating complex cases when necessary. Support compliance, audit, and data integrity activities by conducting file audits, validating employee information, monitoring mandatory documentation, coordinating pre-employment checks, and addressing discrepancies. Coordinate payroll administration across designated countries by preparing and validating payroll inputs, maintaining payroll calendars and trackers, liaising with payroll providers, and supporting reconciliations and issue resolution. Assist with employee benefits administration, including enrolments, amendments, leaver notifications, provider communications, eligibility reporting, invoicing, and reconciliation activities across supported regions. Prepare and distribute recurring HR reports covering headcount, employee movements, absence, organisational data, and compliance metrics. Support ad hoc reporting requests and maintain accurate operational trackers. Provide administrative and coordination support for HR projects, system implementations, organisational changes, and annual people programmes, including performance management, engagement surveys, and compensation activities. Collaborate with HR Operations Advisors, payroll specialists, HR systems teams, and other stakeholders to maintain service quality, meet operational deadlines, and ensure consistent delivery. Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, workflows, and reporting practices, contributing to standard operating procedures, process documentation, and scalable HR service delivery. Requirements: Previous experience in HR administration, HR operations, shared services, or employee lifecycle management within a structured or complex organisational environment. Practical experience processing employee transactions, maintaining personnel records, managing HR documentation, and using HR systems to support day-to-day operations. Experience supporting payroll administration or coordination, employee benefits, provider communications, and payroll-related data validation. Exposure to international or multi-country payroll processes is an advantage. Familiarity with HR workflows, case management, service delivery processes, compliance requirements, data privacy, record management, and audit procedures. Experience preparing HR reports, maintaining operational metrics, validating employee data, and supporting data quality initiatives. Previous involvement in HR projects, process improvements, or system implementations is desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word, with the ability to organise, analyse, validate, and present information accurately. Experience with HR technology platforms such as ADP Workforce Now, Oracle HCM, Sage HR, or equivalent systems is an advantage. Familiarity with ticketing systems, workflow tools, and shared services platforms is also beneficial. Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines and established service standards. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with employees, managers, HR colleagues, and external service providers. High levels of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential employee information, combined with sound judgement, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to escalate risks appropriately. A collaborative, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently, respond to changing priorities, and contribute to continuous improvement. A relevant qualification or certification in human resources, administration, payroll, or business is desirable. Benefits: Opportunity to work remotely from India within an international HR operations environment. Exposure to multi-country HR administration, payroll coordination, benefits management, and HR technology systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and experienced HR, payroll, and systems professionals. Opportunities to contribute to HR projects, operational improvements, and the development of scalable processes. Professional development through exposure to international HR practices, employee lifecycle management, reporting, and compliance activities. A collaborative and employee-focused working environment that values accuracy, service quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
