The ICAR NTS guideline provides INR 2,000 per month at undergraduate level and INR 3,000 per month at master's level. NSP lists separate NTS-UG and NTS-PG entries for academic year 2026–27, both open for student applications through 31 October 2026.
Eligibility requirements
The NTS is for eligible students admitted through the relevant ICAR All India Entrance Examination route to a recognised Agricultural University outside their state of domicile. Awardees must pursue full-time study and comply with the academic-performance and other continuation rules in the official guideline; simultaneous receipt of another scholarship is not permitted.
